Who is responsible

What we store
- Your account: e-mail address (for sign-in with a one-time code), your name and language.
- Your household: its name and time zone, members and their roles.
- The dogs: name and what you enter yourselves (e.g. breed, birth date, practical notes), and a photo if you add one.
- Walks: planned and recurring walks, who has them, when and by whom they were walked, hand-overs ("Can you take it?") and messages in the app's inbox.
- Invitations: requests to join a household, with the requester's name and e-mail.
No ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics.
Why
Only to make the app work: signing you in, showing your household the same walks, reminding the right person and showing the household's weekly statistics. The legal basis is our agreement with you to use the app (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
Who can see it
Only members of your household see its dogs, walks and statistics. Dog photos are private to the household. We do not sell or share data.
Where data is kept
Data is stored with our processor Supabase (database, sign-in and photo storage) on servers in Frankfurt, Germany. Sign-in e-mails are sent via Supabase.
To work without internet, the app keeps a copy of the latest data on your phone for up to 7 days. It is removed when you sign out or delete your account.
How long
As long as you have an account. If you leave a household you lose access to it and your upcoming walks become open to the others; walks you already did stay in the household's history.
Your rights
- Access and export: in the app under Household → Download my data.
- Correction: change your name in the app, or write to us.
- Deletion: in the app under Household → Delete my account. Your e-mail, sign-in and name are deleted; walks you did stay in the household's history as "Former member". Households where you are the only member are deleted entirely, including dogs, photos and walks.
- You may also object, ask for restriction, or complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk).
Children
During the private beta, Wagglemates is for adults only.
Changes
When new features change what we store (e.g. push notifications), we update this page first.
